Work at Height Rescue
An essential element of planning work at height, is the development of emergency arrangements and rescue procedures.
Aimed at those working at height, this 1-day Work at Height Rescue course provides delegates with both the theoretical and practical skills required in order to use a range of fall arrest work position and restraint equipment.
The training focuses on personal escape and workmate rescue from a range of typical scenarios. Delegates will spend time developing their practical skills through the use of temporary safety systems, installed and structural anchors.
Course materials include a course manual and workbook for your use.
Lunch and refreshments are provided by Rescue Specialist.
The qualification is valid for 3 years.
The course will cover:
- The hierarchy of controls when working at height
- How a rescue kit works
- Harness inspection and use
- Simulated rescue
- First aid procedures
Delegates must be in good medical condition with a reasonable level of fitness. A head for heights is essential.
Prior Qualifications Required
All equipment will be provided by Rescue Specialist.
