Advanced Industrial Rope Rigging
Description
Aimed specifically at those working within the telecommunications industry, this 1-day course is intended to further develop the skills of the experienced rigger, introducing more advanced techniques in line with current industry practice and legislative requirements.
Course materials include a course manual and workbook for your use.
Lunch and refreshments are provided by Rescue Specialist.
The qualification is valid for 3 years.
Course Objectives
The course will cover:
- Fixed anchors (EN795 Type A)
- Temporary anchors (EN795 Type B)
- Aid climbing
- Rigging deviations
- Rigging deviations
- Rigging re belays
- Rigging including “y hangs” and equalising anchors.
- Awkward edges
- Knots
Prerequisites
LEVEL 1 rope Access, RS rigging course.
Prior Qualifications Required
Delegates must have previously completed:
Level 1 Rope Access or RS rigging course
Equipment Required
All equipment will be provided by Rescue Specialist.
